Biodiversity and Entomology

Welcome!

I am an ecologist and evolutionary biologist interested in the biodiversity and diversification of ants on different spatial and temporal scales. My aim is to explore and document nature in order to increase our understanding of the underlying eco-evolutionary processes that have shaped our planet’s biodiversity. My research broadly encompasses systematics, taxonomy, community ecology, phylogenomics, and population genomics, as well as faunistic surveys of ants.

What I do

The goal of my research is to improve our understanding of how eco-evolutionary processes contribute to current species diversity and distribution by studying ants
